     The ID that refers to the RenderableOp on the server.

Constructor Summary
public  RenderableRMIServerProxy(String serverName, String operationName, ParameterBlock paramBlock, Long opID)
     Creates a RenderableRMIServerProxy to access the RenderableOp on the server identified by the supplied opID.

Method Summary
public  RenderedImagecreateDefaultRendering()
     Returns a RenderedImage instance of this image with a default width and height in pixels.
public  RenderedImagecreateRendering(RenderContext renderContext)
     Creates a RenderedImage that represented a rendering of this image using a given RenderContext.
public  RenderedImagecreateScaledRendering(int w, int h, RenderingHints hints)
     Creates a RenderedImage instance of this image with width w, and height h in pixels.
public  floatgetHeight()
     Gets the height in user coordinate space.
protected synchronized  ImageServergetImageServer(String serverName)
     Construct an ImageServer on the indicated server.

The name of the server must be supplied in the form

 host:port

where the port number is optional and may be supplied only if the host name is supplied.
public  floatgetMinX()
     Gets the minimum X coordinate of the rendering-independent image data.
public  floatgetMinY()
     Gets the minimum Y coordinate of the rendering-independent image data.
public  StringgetOperationName()
     Returns the operation name.
public  ObjectgetProperty(String name)
     Gets a property from the property set of this image. If the property name is not recognized, java.awt.Image.UndefinedProperty will be returned.
Parameters:
  name - the name of the property to get, as a String.
public  String[]getPropertyNames()
     Returns a list of names recognized by getProperty.
public  LonggetRMIID()
     Returns the ID that refers to the RenderableOp on the server.
public  StringgetServerName()
     Returns the name of the server on which the RenderableOp exists.
public  VectorgetSources()
     Returns a vector of RenderableImages that are the sources of image data for this RenderableImage.
public  floatgetWidth()
     Gets the width in user coordinate space.
public  booleanisDynamic()
     Returns true if successive renderings (that is, calls to createRendering() or createScaledRendering()) with the same arguments may produce different results.

Field Detail
id
public Long id(Code)
The ID that refers to the RenderableOp on the server.

Constructor Detail
RenderableRMIServerProxy
public RenderableRMIServerProxy(String serverName, String operationName, ParameterBlock paramBlock, Long opID)(Code)
Creates a RenderableRMIServerProxy to access the RenderableOp on the server identified by the supplied opID.

Method Detail
createDefaultRendering
public RenderedImage createDefaultRendering() throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Returns a RenderedImage instance of this image with a default width and height in pixels. The RenderContext is built automatically with an appropriate usr2dev transform and an area of interest of the full image. The rendering hints are empty. createDefaultRendering may make use of a stored rendering for speed. a RenderedImage containing the rendered data.

createRendering
public RenderedImage createRendering(RenderContext renderContext) throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Creates a RenderedImage that represented a rendering of this image using a given RenderContext. This is the most general way to obtain a rendering of a RenderableImage.

The created RenderedImage may have a property identified by the String HINTS_OBSERVED to indicate which RenderingHints (from the RenderContext) were used to create the image. In addition any RenderedImages that are obtained via the getSources() method on the created RenderedImage may have such a property.
Parameters:
  renderContext - the RenderContext to use to produce the rendering. a RenderedImage containing the rendered data.

createScaledRendering
public RenderedImage createScaledRendering(int w, int h, RenderingHints hints) throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Creates a RenderedImage instance of this image with width w, and height h in pixels. The RenderContext is built automatically with an appropriate usr2dev transform and an area of interest of the full image. All the rendering hints come from hints passed in.

If w == 0, it will be taken to equal Math.round(h*(getWidth()/getHeight())). Similarly, if h == 0, it will be taken to equal Math.round(w*(getHeight()/getWidth())). One of w or h must be non-zero or else an IllegalArgumentException will be thrown.

The created RenderedImage may have a property identified by the String HINTS_OBSERVED to indicate which RenderingHints were used to create the image. In addition any RenderedImages that are obtained via the getSources() method on the created RenderedImage may have such a property.
Parameters:
  w - the width of rendered image in pixels, or 0.
Parameters:
  h - the height of rendered image in pixels, or 0.
Parameters:
  hints - a RenderingHints object containg hints. a RenderedImage containing the rendered data.

getHeight
public float getHeight() throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Gets the height in user coordinate space. By convention, the usual height of a RenderedImage is equal to 1.0F. the height of the image in user coordinates.

getImageServer
protected synchronized ImageServer getImageServer(String serverName)(Code)
Construct an ImageServer on the indicated server.

The name of the server must be supplied in the form

 host:port

where the port number is optional and may be supplied only if the host name is supplied. If this parameter is null the default is to search for the ImageServer service on the local host at the default rmiregistry port (1099).

The result is cached in the instance variable "remoteImage".
Parameters:
  serverName - The name of the server in the format described.

getMinX
public float getMinX() throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Gets the minimum X coordinate of the rendering-independent image data. the minimum X coordinate of the rendering-independent imagedata.

getMinY
public float getMinY() throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Gets the minimum Y coordinate of the rendering-independent image data. the minimum Y coordinate of the rendering-independent imagedata.

getOperationName
public String getOperationName()(Code)
Returns the operation name.

getProperty
public Object getProperty(String name) throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Gets a property from the property set of this image. If the property name is not recognized, java.awt.Image.UndefinedProperty will be returned.
Parameters:
  name - the name of the property to get, as a String. a reference to the property Object, or the valuejava.awt.Image.UndefinedProperty.

getPropertyNames
public String[] getPropertyNames() throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Returns a list of names recognized by getProperty. a list of property names.

getRMIID
public Long getRMIID()(Code)
Returns the ID that refers to the RenderableOp on the server.

getServerName
public String getServerName()(Code)
Returns the name of the server on which the RenderableOp exists.

getSources
public Vector getSources()(Code)
Returns a vector of RenderableImages that are the sources of image data for this RenderableImage. Note that this method may return an empty vector, to indicate that the image has no sources, or null, to indicate that no information is available. a (possibly empty) Vector of RenderableImages, or null.

getWidth
public float getWidth() throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Gets the width in user coordinate space. By convention, the usual width of a RenderableImage is equal to the image's aspect ratio (width divided by height). the width of the image in user coordinates.

isDynamic
public boolean isDynamic() throws RemoteImagingException(Code)
Returns true if successive renderings (that is, calls to createRendering() or createScaledRendering()) with the same arguments may produce different results. This method may be used to determine whether an existing rendering may be cached and reused. It is always safe to return true. true if successive renderings with thesame arguments might produce different results;false otherwise.
