public interface PingQueueManager (Code)
PingQueueManager. This interface describes the manager for the weblog update ping request queue. The queue is processed by the PingQueueProcesssor and PingQueueTask components in the application layer.

Method Summary
public void addQueueEntry(AutoPingData autoPing)
     Add a new persistent entry to the queue.
public List getAllQueueEntries()
     Get all of the queue entries.
public PingQueueEntryData getQueueEntry(String id)
     Retrieve an entry from the queue.
Parameters:
  id - the unique id of the entry.
public void release()
     Release all resources associated with Roller session.
public void removeQueueEntry(PingQueueEntryData pingQueueEntry)
     Remove a queue entry.
public void saveQueueEntry(PingQueueEntryData pingQueueEntry)
     Store the given queue entry.

Method Detail
addQueueEntry
public void addQueueEntry(AutoPingData autoPing) throws RollerException(Code)
Add a new persistent entry to the queue. If the queue already contains an entry for the ping target and website specified by this auto ping configuration, a new one will not be added.
Parameters:
  autoPing - auto ping configuration for the ping request to be queued.

getAllQueueEntries
public List getAllQueueEntries() throws RollerException(Code)
Get all of the queue entries. the queue as a List of PingQueueEntryData objects.

getQueueEntry
public PingQueueEntryData getQueueEntry(String id) throws RollerException(Code)
Retrieve an entry from the queue.
Parameters:
  id - the unique id of the entry. the queue entry with the specified id.
