public interface INameUpdating (Code)
Represents processors in the JDT space that rename elements.

Method Summary
public RefactoringStatus checkNewElementName(String newName)
     Checks if the new name is valid for the entity that this refactoring renames.
public String getCurrentElementName()
     Gets the current name of the entity that this refactoring is working on.
public Object[] getElements()
     Gets the original elements.
public Object getNewElement()
     Gets the element after renaming, or null if not available.
public String getNewElementName()
     Get the name for the entity that this refactoring is working on.
public void setNewElementName(String newName)
     Sets new name for the entity that this refactoring is working on.

checkNewElementName
public RefactoringStatus checkNewElementName(String newName) throws CoreException(Code)
Checks if the new name is valid for the entity that this refactoring renames.

getCurrentElementName
public String getCurrentElementName()(Code)
Gets the current name of the entity that this refactoring is working on.

getElements
public Object[] getElements()(Code)
Gets the original elements. Since an INameUpdating only renames one element, this method must return an array containing exactly one element. an array containing exactly one element
