Method Summary
public IJoinQueryString getJoinQuery()
     Gets the appropriate IJoinQueryString implemenation for the database.
public String sqlTimeStamp()
     SQL TimeStamp format of current time.
public String sqlTimeStamp(long date)
     SQL TimeStamp format a long.
Parameters:
  date - The time in milliseconds to format.
public String sqlTimeStamp(Date date)
     SQL TimeStamp format a Date.
Parameters:
  date - The date to format.
public boolean supportsOuterJoins()
     Returns true if the database server supports outer joins.
public boolean supportsPreparedStatements()
     Returns true if the database server supports prepared statements.
public boolean supportsTransactions()
     Returns true if the database server supports transactions.

Method Detail
getJoinQuery
public IJoinQueryString getJoinQuery()(Code)
Gets the appropriate IJoinQueryString implemenation for the database. If IDatabaseMetadata.supportsOuterJoins() returns false this will return null. The appropriate IJoinQueryString implemenation.

sqlTimeStamp
public String sqlTimeStamp()(Code)
SQL TimeStamp format of current time. SQL TimeStamp of the current time.

public String sqlTimeStamp(long date)(Code)
SQL TimeStamp format a long.
Parameters:
  date - The time in milliseconds to format. SQL TimeStamp of the specified time.

sqlTimeStamp

SQL TimeStamp format a Date.
Parameters:
  date - The date to format. SQL TimeStamp or "NULL" if date is null.

supportsOuterJoins
public boolean supportsOuterJoins()(Code)
Returns true if the database server supports outer joins. The query to use if this returns true can be retrieved from the IDatabaseMetadata.getJoinQuery() method. true if the server supports outer joins.

supportsPreparedStatements
public boolean supportsPreparedStatements()(Code)
Returns true if the database server supports prepared statements. true if the server supports prepared statements.

supportsTransactions
public boolean supportsTransactions()(Code)
Returns true if the database server supports transactions. true if the server supports transactions.
