UIDServer
public interface UIDServer extends Service(Code)
	This service is the backwards-compatible API for the UIDService .

Method Summary
MessageAddress	getMessageAddress() MessageAddress of the agent.
PersistenceState	getPersistenceState() persistence backwards compatibility.
UID	nextUID() Take the next Unique ID.
UID	registerUniqueObject(UniqueObject o) Assign the next UID to a unique object.

Method Detail

getMessageAddress
MessageAddress getMessageAddress()(Code)
	MessageAddress of the agent. This is primarily for backwards compatibility; components should get their agent's address through the org.cougaar.core.service.AgentIdentificationService , which the common plugin base classes provide as a "getAgentIdentifier()" method.

getPersistenceState
PersistenceState getPersistenceState()(Code)
	persistence backwards compatibility.

nextUID
UID nextUID()(Code)
	Take the next Unique ID.

registerUniqueObject
UID registerUniqueObject(UniqueObject o)(Code)
	Assign the next UID to a unique object. This is equivalent to `o.setUID(nextUID())`.

setPersistenceState
void setPersistenceState(PersistenceState state)(Code)
