public interface I_Listener (Code)
The Listener encapsulates a communication endpoint of a I_Service . This means one I_Service can have many Listeners. This is necessary to listen to multiple ports.

Returns the used port. the used port

Returns the I_Service . service.

getSoTimeout
public int getSoTimeout()(Code)
Returns SO_TIMEOUT for the accepting socket.
Parameters:
  aSoTimeout - time in ms

handleSoTimeout
public void handleSoTimeout()(Code)
Is called, when a SO_TIMEOUT happened. It might be a good idea to call I_Service.handleSoTimeout here.

isBound
public boolean isBound()(Code)
Indicates whether this Listener is already bound to a port/address. true or false

run

Contains the listenting loop.

setBindAddress
public void setBindAddress(InetAddress aBindAddress)(Code)
Sets the InetAddresse, the Listener should be bound to.
Parameters:
  aBindAddress - InetAddresse, the Listener shouldbe bound to

Sets the name of this Listener.
Parameters:
  name - name of this Listener

setPort
public void setPort(int port)(Code)
Sets the port to use.
Parameters:
  port - port the socket should use

setService
public void setService(I_Service aService)(Code)
Sets the I_Service .
Parameters:
  aService - service.

start
public void start() throws ServerException(Code)
Starts the listening loop.
exception:
  ServerException - if it is not possible tostart this Listener

stop
public void stop() throws ServerException(Code)
Stops the listening loop.
exception:
  ServerException - if it is not possible tostop this Listener
