3.10.4.Format Using Color Scales
Select a cell or a range. 
           Click the Home tab. 
           Click the Conditional Formatting button. 
           Point to Color Scales. 
           Click the two or three colored scale you want. 
           The top color represents higher values, the center color represents middle values, 
           and the bottom color represents lower values.

To create a custom color scale, click More Rules,

Specify the options. Then click OK.
