4.5.2.Resize a Shape

Select the shape.

To resize the object vertically or horizontally, 

          drag a sizing handle on the side of the selection box.

To resize the object vertically and horizontally, drag a sizing handle on the corner of the selection box.

To resize the object with precise measurements, 

          click the Format tab under Drawing Tools

Then specify the height and width settings in the Size group.
